About Trent Fine Art Advisory

Nilani Trent founded Trent Fine Art Advisory in March, 2006. Her mission is to assist private collectors and corporations create outstanding collections of contemporary art as well as to educate her clients about all aspects of the art market. Nilani has helped curate emerging artist shows including Marisa Baumgartner and Kristine Moran. She has also placed works by more established artists such as Dana Schutz, Ryan McGinness, Shahzia Sikander, and Richard Prince.

Nilani Trent holds her masters in Modern Art Connoiseurship and the History of the Art Market from Christie’s Education, New York where she received the award for Art Historical and Critical Development. She also holds a B.A. in History from Rollins College, Winter Park, FL where she was inducted into the Phi Alpha Theta Honors Society.

Having worked at both Christie’s and Sotheby’s, Nilani has experience aiding both corporate and private clients in purchasing at auction. As an art advisor for a small corporate consulting firm prior to starting Trent Fine Art Advisory, Nilani has worked with many galleries and artists, finding art for both private and corporate clients.
